Character Bio: Lorraine Adele Kincaide Biddinger Cesaro Frazer Biddinger
Lorraine was born in Eden Valley, California, and has three younger sisters: Lorretta, Lauren and Louise. At the age of 5, her parents were killed in a car accident, leaving the four sisters under the custody and supervision of their paternal grandfather, Gerald Kincaide.
Gerald was not a very loving person, and could be verbally and physically abusive of the four girls, but most of his anger and aggression was taken out on Lorraine, who he felt should keep the other girls in line.
When Lorraine was 18, Lorraine saw Gerald strike her youngest sister, Louise, with such force that Louise lost her footing and fell over the banister of the second floor of the home they all lived in. At the hospital, not knowing whether Louise would live through the night, Lorraine attacked Gerald. Security had her arrested.
While sitting in the jail cell, Gerald came to visit her and told her he would drop the charges against her, but only if she agreed to leave Eden Valley. Her response was that she would leave only if he gave her $1000 and signed an agreement that he would never again touch any of her sisters, otherwise she would stay and call make his life hell. He agreed to the conditions.
The next day, Lorraine said goodbye to her sisters, promising to call them every chance she got, and boarded a bus bound for Denver.
Once in Denver, she rented a room at a girls boarding house and got a job with Stone Construction as receptionist/secretary to the owner. She then met the owners son, Richard Stone, and went on a couple dates with him. On the third date, Richard tried to take advantage of her, and when she resisted he attacked her, beating her until she submitted to him.
The next day, Lorraine walked into the office. When her boss, Jackson Stone, saw the condition she was in, he immediately called his son into the office and started to beat on him. Upset at what was happening, Lorraine ran out of the office building and into the street, where she was struck by a car.
She awoke in the hospital with a man sitting next to her bed. It was the man who was driving the car: Anthony Biddinger.
Anthony visited her in the hospital every day, and paid for the stay. He then offered her a job at his company, a small oil company he had started.
A month later, Lorraine discovered she was pregnant with Richards child. She went to Anthony and told him about the pregnancy and how it had happened. Anthony then surprised her by offering to marry her, so that the child would not be born out of wedlock. At first, Lorraine declined, but then Anthony told her that he would raise the son as his own, and the child would inherit everything, so she agreed.
They were married in a quick civil ceremony a week later. Two weeks after the wedding, Lorraine was rushed to the hospital with extreme abdominal pain. She lost the baby.
Lorraine then offered to have the marriage annulled, as it was never consummated. It was then that Anthony admitted that he had been in love with her since the moment he had first laid eyes on her, and wanted to remain married to her.
Lorraine agreed to remain married to Anthony.
Two years later, Lorraine discovered she was pregnant. Due to her previous miscarriage, her doctor put her onto constant bed rest, with a nurse living in the house to take care of her.
Lorraine and the Nurse, Mary Elizabeth Turain, became good friends during her stay in bed. Once the baby, a boy named after Anthony’s father, Douglas Michael Biddinger, was born, Mary broke down in tears and told Lorraine that she was leaving Denver for personal reasons.
Lorraine tried to find her friend, but never found Mary again.
The next year, Lorraine gave birth to a girl that she named Elizabeth Marie, after her friend.
During Lorraine’s two pregnancies, Anthony had turned his small oil company into a large powerhouse. He decided that there was no need for Lorraine to work for him anymore, so Lorraine got involved in local charities.
When Doug was 3 and Elizabeth was 2, Lorraine became pregnant for a third time. But again she miscarried during her second month of pregnancy.
A year later she gave birth to Anthony Michael Biddinger, who would be known as Tony.
A year after Tony was born, Lorraine became pregnant again. The baby, Andelia Louise, was born 2 months early, and her doctors told her it would be best if she never had any more children.
Not long after Andelia’s birth, Lorraine went to Anthony’s office to surprise him for lunch. Walking into his office, Lorraine was surprised to find him having sex with another woman. But the bigger shock came when she realized that the woman was Mary Turain, the nurse who had disappeared 5 years earlier.
After Anthony admitted to having the affair with Mary since she was Lorraine’s nurse, Lorraine filed for divorce. She then took the kids and left Denver, moving to New York City.
In New York City, Lorraine started a small boutique store inside a small hotel. It was moderately successful, but the hotel was not. She then bought the hotel and turned it into a profitable business.
She also met and married Gino Cesaro, who owned the import company she received much of her merchandise from. While they were married, Gino was arrested and tried as a mob boss. He was convicted and sentenced to life in prison on their 4th wedding anniversary.
While in prison, Gino divorce Lorraine, telling her it was best for her. In the divorce, she received all of his legitimate businesses, which included the import company as well as 3 other hotels in New York City.
Five years after the divorce from Gino, Lorraine married Harold Frazer, another hotelier who had hotels around the country. Two years after their marriage, Harold was killed in a plane crash. Lorraine was left his estate, which included the hotels. She was now owner of five different businesses: three different hotel companies, her chain of boutique stores, and an import company.
During Harold’s funeral, Lorraine was surprised to see Anthony there.
He told her that he had broken off the relationship with Mary and had not seen her since the divorce nearly ten years earlier. Soon, Lorraine and Anthony found themselves talking more often, and eventually they were re-married.
After the marriage, Lorraine consolidated al of her companies into a single company called Kincaide Corporation, and located the headquarters in Denver.
Since her second marriage to Anthony, he company has expanded around the world, and into many other industries.
